Child Rapists Should Get 15 Year Minimum Sentence

The Federal government has failed to protect Canadian children with 14 day minimum sentences for child sex rapists.

Canada’s soft, bleeding heart criminal code did not do justice for the two women Russell Williams murdered and the numerous others he violated.

Canada’s criminal code of just 14 day minimum prison sentences for child rape, 90 days for production of child pornography and 14 days for perverted acts against children is too lenient.

Canada must toughen its criminal code with 15 year mandatory minimum sentences without parole for child sex abusers.

We appeal, Prime Minister Stephen Harper to take the responsibility to fulfill his promise to introduce legislation offering tougher sentencing for child sex abusers. We appeal, Opposition leader Michael Ignatieff to set aside his political wrangling and partner with the government to protect our children who remain at risk..
