Conservative MP Garth Turner calls those who defend marriage "Taliban, Flowers of Evil" that should drink Kool Aid (a direct reference to Jim Jones followers committing suicide, as he explained on his website).
If Mr. Turner called homosexuals "Flowers of Evil" that "should drink Kool Aid" he would be forced out of government the same day. The media in general gives Mr. Turner a pass, therefore there is no pressure on the Prime Minister to act.
